New Turbines in our Portfolio: Endurance E3120 and the Evance R9000

Two new distributorships

Scaled Energy have taken on the distributorships of two additional small scale turbines, the Endurance E3120 and the Evance R9000 joining the Evoco 10 already in our portfolio, which we believe these are the top 3 wind turbines available in the UK marketplace.

We are top-level distributors for all of the turbines we offer. This means that we are the only Scottish installation company to deal directly with the manufacturers of each turbine in our portfolio.

Evance R9000 (5kW)

The Evance R9000 5kW small wind turbine is the result of years of dedicated research and it is the most efficient and reliable 5kW turbine available. Combining state of the art technology and elegant design the R9000 belongs to the “next generation” of small wind turbines offering class leading quality, performance and reliability. It is helping many schools, farms, rural homes and light commercial sites to generate clean energy.

Evoco 10 (10kW)

The Evoco 10kw turbine, manufactured by Evoco Energy, has been specifically designed to deliver high generation in harsh wind conditions. The turbine’s mission is to offer a class leading investment opportunity (achieving a short payback, typically within the 5 year warranty period) allowing you to produce your own green electricity, generate an additional income and effectively reduce your carbon footprint whilst publicly promoting your commitment to renewable energy. Producing an energy yield that will deliver approximately 31,000 kWh/yr at 6m/s, this turbine’s expected generation and energy savings is £10,000 p.a. The Evoco 10kW turbine is ideally suited to producing electricity for properties such as farms and rural residencies. Do come along and see this robust and dependable turbine working on site on Tuesday 28th June at Lintmiln Farm in Stirlingshire (more info here).

Endurance E3120 (50kW)

The Endurance E-3120 is a manufactured by Endurance Wind Power, a Canadian company with a proven track record in this class.

The Endurance is highly regarded for its production efficiency in less than perfect wind conditions. This turbine has a 19.2m rotor diameter – one of the largest rotor diameters per rated kW in its class, which enables it to capture more wind energy. It will typically yield 194,000 kWh/yr at 6.5m/s. This gives expected generation and energy savings of approximately £57,700 p.a.*with the intention of providing a payback within the 5 year warranty period. The other benefits of the turbine are its reliability; all turbines have been extensively tested, built with proven commercial components ensuring all customers receive dependable energy production over its 25 year lifespan. These turbines are quiet, safe and have clean aesthetics.

(*assumes a FIT tariff of 25.3p per kWh, 50% of energy exported, 50% of energy used on site, income from the sale of electricity, 3p per kW and the value of electricity used on site, 10p per kW.)
